The story
Given 6 to 12 months. Still here six years later.
I was diagnosed with MS at 38. Then, at 46, came the diagnosis no one saw coming: Stage 4 breast cancer, already in my chest, lymph nodes, lungs, bones, and liver. That was December 2019. I was given 6 to 12 months to live.
That was more than six years ago. Only around 22% of patients with my diagnosis live past six years, and it still amazes my doctors that I'm one of them. I follow every one of their instructions, and I always will. But I believe the mindset I built alongside my treatment made this road steadier and made me stronger on it.
Still Here Now is my way of sharing what I've learned. Not a substitute for medical care, ever. A set of tools built from neuroscience for the moments medicine can't quite reach, the ones where you're lying awake, bracing for the next appointment, or just trying to feel like yourself again.
